Best use of pokerstars fpp?

So recently i've red about the use of pokerstars fpps. In this blog post it is stated that the best way to go is 235fpp sunday storm satellites.

 




Although one may disagree and say the best use is this...

Anyway as i am goldstar currently the biggest bonus for me available was 75$ for 6250fpps. That is 1,2 cents/fpp. So i will try out the satellite method. I will play 6250/235=~26 tourneys. In order to be just above the 75$ bonus value i should win 7 (77$) tourneys. So far i've played 13 tourneys and cashed 2 of them. in the other half i need to win at least 5. This game is very high variance as it is hyper-turbo. I guess i ran not very hot as i got AA vs AA already.

Also i still don't know if i am going to sell T$ or use them. I started reading a tournament book and would like to give some tourneys a try.

Poker is going very bad last couple weeks. I can't seem to play well when i know i am down that session/day/month. So this nice hand was like a little piece of sunshine in somewhere very very dark (getting poetical, lol).

Overall i seem to have brought back some leaks and my tilt has been showing up lately. Going to have one session today then go to the seaside and recharge. Will be coming back on sunday and hopefully i can turn my month around by a good sunday session.

My poker is going awful right now. But how can you make money when fish make money. So it has been a while since i have seen such stats ( almost 100 vpip). This guy managed to go up like 2 stacks in 100ish hands and then he just left. Anyway going to finish my month spewing chips on regular tables with table selecting. Hopefully i can make it back to black.

I got back from the beach by the sea and started the grind.

It didn't go well. My resolution for the remaining time of the month will be to play mostly on evenings and try to enjoy summer while daytime. Here is the messed up graph

Gutsy play

Villain was 74/39/18 over 23 hands. I know that is a small sample, but he was down about a stack already. My decision was based on two things: 1) his stats were very fishy 2) he had 4bet+ with 33

Going to play regular tables for the rest of the month.

Zoom and regular tables differences

So i thought i would give regular tables a visit. Seems like zoom is a lot tighter. All the money went in pre flop.

I will try to mix some zoom and some regular tables depending on the time and traffic.

Hi everyone, I got back home from a weekend by lakeside and started zooming...

As i previously wrote about my luck on sundays it still haven't proven me wrong.

July results and August goals

July results:

My goals for july were to play 30k hands and maybe make goldstar. I accomplished both of them quite easily in the middle of the month.

So the results are: 57,5k hands and almost 280 bucks for a lousy 1.96 bb/100 winrate.

My thoughts are two-folded. Bad thing is that i was near to making 500$. In the last days managed to drop down a lot. The bright side is that i regained my confidence that i can win. Also i like the volume i've put in. It is half the hands i've played this year.

August goals:

1) play 50k hands
2) remain goldstar
3) try to not check results while playing because i seem to tilt easily when i am losing
4) make notes and review hands after every day
5) if my bankroll grows try out 50nl tables
6) non poker. Lets say run 30 km

To make this post more interesting i will put the biggest hands of the month.
